This is a 1991 performance by the late stand-up comedian Bill Hicks.

Relentless was recorded at the Centaur Theatre during the annual Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada. Despite the common title, the CD album of the same name was recorded at a separate performance, after the Just for Laughs festival had closed.

  • I feel like I have to listen to Hicks or Carlin at least once a week in order to keep my sanity in tact. It's a shame that the world loses a comedic genius like this at such a young age while people like Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia are alive and kicking. I mean, I wouldn't wish death on them just because I don't like their stand-up, but you get the point. If Bill Hicks could see the world today, I think he'd be ten times more cynical and disgusted.

  • Denis Leary is a fucking hack who stole from Bill Hicks.

  • @GoldenArc you should check out louis ck

  • @GoldenArc T'ain't Mencia's fault. He got no dick, man. He got no dick.

  • Also Brendan Burns, fantastically insightfult comedian, if it weren't for him I wouldn't know about Hicks or Carlin

  • @GoldenArc agreed. You are a good man, the world needs more people like you

  • @arzadi11 Well, if that's true, I would hate to see the pilot of the Enola Gay. Poor bastard must of been paranoid.

  • @arzadi11 I agree; Though the whole on the ground concept isn't necessarily the problem. Its like what you said... now-a-days its an Army vs. Civilians + political drama. No.. a war is when 2 armies are fighting.

  • Purple haze!!!

  • "There never was a war... A war is when two armies are fighting" on the ground, not from above in the sky. Aircraft technology changed the meaning of a true "war". Today's wars are not anything like the historic "wars" any more. since the ww1 and ww2 aircrafts made wars just dirty cowrdice acts of dropping bombs on innocent civilians an run. and that is not anything noble to be proud of.

  • @JBHoughtaling

I know. It always amazes me to see people laughing like fucking animals at some of his darkest statements.
