A new work from acclaimed Shining City playwright Conor McPherson comes to Broadway direct from London.
It's Christmas Eve and Sharky has returned to Dublin to look after his irascible, aging brother who's recently gone blind. Old drinking buddies Ivan and Nicky are holed up at the house too, hoping to play some cards. But with the arrival of a stranger from the distant past, the stakes are raised ever higher. In fact, Sharky may be playing for his very soul.
The Seafarer comes to Broadway after receiving its world premiere at London's National Theatre in 2006 where it received two Olivier Award nominations, including Best New Play.

Saw this yesterday at The George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick and it was incredible. We couldn't believe the time went by so quickly. I want to see it again!

It was an AWFUL show.
Saw it last night and absolutely hated it.
It could have been so much better with the concepts it had, but they blew it.

I'm tired hearing about Conor McPherson, like he's the only playwright alive, maybe he struck a deal of his own with the devil.

I don't know about the music but the play is fantastic. Amazing cast, it's actually a very funny show.
