New Video - This is the new LMRP Cap 9. The LMRP Cap 6 continues to leak. This is a hastily made device which is clearly failing. We need to improve performance immediately. We know that we can fit a cap on the well; we need to take advantage of that capability and start immediately on advanced cap designs. A revised device could be installed in days. An improved top hat could be manufactured quickly, lowered into position next to the well for quick installation with the current top hat still in place. The revised device would have several improvements that would allow it to work better and install quickly to minimize any additional leakage. Multiple revisions of the LMRP Cap should be underway.

If you are like me you are extremely frustrated that we are not taking action to stop the leaking oil. Please select 'like' for this video. If you want me to send you the whitepaper include an email address in your comment and I'll send it (I recognize that this information is hard to see on youtube). If you have any suggestions on who I should contact send them my way.

  • I received the following note in response to a whitepaper I authored on this solution.

    Dear Gary,

Thank you for your submission to the Alternative Response Technology (ART) process for the Deepwater Horizon MC252 incident. Your submission has been reviewed for its technical merits.

It has been determined that your idea falls into one of the following ART categories: Already Considered/Planned, Not Feasible, or Not Possible, and therefore will not be advanced for further evaluation.

  • BP has no intentions of capping well until they are certain a second one is drilled-better let it flow into an already destroyed gulf perhaps until all salt water is displaced in the latter then BP will find it suitable to suck up oil in now gulf of mexico storage tank as no life will be left as it stands now.BP disaster is akin to an enemy attack on USA grounds when you calculate all the lives being destroyed and still yet to be.

  • @uyglyfuk I share that sense of being attacked.

  • I just wanted to commend you on your amazing design and solution. I agree wholeheartedly – it is a tragedy that 50 days into this, we are accepting BP’s handling of this major environmental disaster. Your ideas make a lot of sense. Keep them out there.

  • @520ce Thanks, I'm still pushing it on several fronts if you have any suggestions.

  • Thats just the thing, its a joke a JOKE, its just not being managed at all. What i have seen and heard, from the president of the united states and bp. its very poor indeed. its a joke. when we the public are tryinbg to give them ideas, its poor. really isnt good. and i bet there not even interested in anyones idea's. but its good to see people rally behind this problem, where doing alot more than the president of us. and bp put together. president hasnt offered any help whatsoever. Pfffff.

  • It's people like you who take the initiative to help with a solution to this tragedy that needs to be having a meeting with preident Obama and ret. admiral Thad Allen, and Navy ROV experts a team of capable people could develop a plan, get it orginized an exucuted. But there seems to be road block, the Navy needs to commandeer all BP'S vessals and let you guys go for it. good luck maybe they'll listen to you .

  • @uyglyfuk you are so full of it dirrty shit it was a usa oil rig with a faulty valve

  • not at that depth I think the problem is they dont have enough pipes because of the crystal formation

  • ecorazzi.com/2010/06/04/how-kevin-costner-earned-the-attention-of-bp/

  • It looks like you have contacted several good sources. Maybe continue to pursue the governors and senators of other states involved. Better yet, contact the state departments such as DNR (department of natural resources), wildlife, environmental, etc. Sometimes it is easier to get the attention of the smaller departments, especially if they are directly affected.

  • @itsianman Someone called a couple days ago from BP and asked for my street address but then they went quiet. The Coast Guard has a website where you can submit a white paper on suggested solutions, which I did several times but I have yet to hear anything (I can send it to anyone who is interested). I also sent things directly to Bobby Jindal, Parish President Nungesser, Admiral Allen, etc. No response. I hear Woods Hole Oceanographic is doing some research, today I am going to contact them.
