how to mod a psp the easy way

make sure u download the full version NOT the lite version. i do not use the lite version so i wont be able to help u if u download it.

FOR PHAT PSP USERS
u need to download an extra file called the 1.50 eboot.pbp. google it and then load it when u open the mms maker.

directions
1. download rains mms maker
2. get a pandoras battery. ( either make one or buy one. theyre really cheap so it makes no sense to destroy a perfectly good battery by modding it.)
3.insert your memory stick and enter usb mode with your psp
4.open rain mms maker by RUNNING IT AS ADMINISTRATOR. YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK TO DO THIS!! if this is not done the screen to add the custom firmware will not come up when the left button is held!!!!!
5. download a 4.01 eboot.pbp ( google it ) and load it into the mms maker. there should be a button that says load 4.01 eboot.
6. check the box next to format memory stick and click on make mms MAKE SURE U DO NOT HAVE ANY VALUABLE DATA ON UR MEMORY STICK BECAUSE IT WILL GET ERASED! so back up all ur data
7. when done, insert the pandora battery and hold the L button.
8. if u do not have 4.01 official firmware, downgrade to that first because you might brick ur psp. if not then skip to step 9
9.. reboot ur psp with the pandora battery and hold the L button
10. add the custom firmware ( 4.01 m33) and ur done. just wait for the pricess to finish on ur psp

Can I mod a 6.31 official firmware

@anthonywastrinh u might need to downgrade first if it is possible from that firmware. try looking up how to downgrade 6.31 firmware first before u flash ur psp. otherwise if u flash it now u are going to brick ur device.

Weeelll it was tuff to listen to you tutorial.. But amazngly this worked for me!!

Now im trying to get a game called Gladiator Begins...buttt the desscription says this

If this game does not work on Prometheus CFW that's your own fault for using that shit ;)

CFW M33 is DEAD.. Upgrade or Stop Bitching!!!!

@hughcronic lol for a second i mistook u for a troll. but glad the video worked for u. and yeah M33 is dead but u srill need to upgrade to it if u havent yet, so that u can get gen d3 and then prometheus. so at least this vid is good for sumthing..oh and i think that the prometheus firmware should work with games on the 6.2-6.3 firmwares. so its very worth it to get prometheus.

@shinmasterx oookkk now I tried to upgrade from 4.01 to v.5.0m33... it was almost done and then it said I need 78% battery to continue.. But my pandora battery is now dead and wont charge???

Ive looked at a couple ways to unbrock it ..but its not working.. Ive tried multiple ways to get the battery to charge.. is my pandora battery now totally screwed?

@hughcronic the fact that u started the update and it stopped halfway means that the battery cant be dead. cuz u need at least 78% to start the update. what happens when u turn it on? do u get a black screen wit a green light? or do u get to the boot screen and then the psp goes black? cuz its a difference.

@anthonywastrinh Dont mod/hack it all the new psp models have an unhackable motherboard if you try modding it you will get a brick and it will be impossible to unbrick it. Get HBL or something
