@Supernova325 He is right though, Jerry Falwell was a hate filled, bigoted, monster. And he was indeed a glutton.

@Supernova325 k, sweet prince...goodnight

@HelloWalterSobchak i'm going to go ahead and go to bed now, it's become clear that your only reason for arguing is to shove your agenda down peoples throats, and i'm not interested. i thought you were going to actually provide some logical conclusion to your ridiculous claim that beliefs somehow constitute personal attacks, but it's become obvious now that you never will, and that your ultimate goal is just to be the WINNER, not to actually be RIGHT.
have a nice life.

@Supernova325 You are right. Falwell Sr. has died and is burning for eternity in HELL for being a Glutton, and preaching HATE speech. He was a fatass, glutton, that constantly preached hate in the name of GOD. God has no mercy for those that preach hate and intolerance.

@HelloWalterSobchak this isn't really that hard of a concept...
a personal attack is when someone personally attacks you. duh.
a belief is when someone believes something. duh.
someone has the ability to believe something AND at the same time not attack anyone. duh.
hence, a belief does not constitute a personal attack.
why make such radical statements? is it all just a show for your youtube fans or something? i mean come on, in the grand scheme of things, this doesn't even MATTER bro!

and second because even if JERRY FALWELL JUNIOR did say that, (he didn't, i'm humoring you,) that doesn't make any difference. whether or not he has actually made a personal attack on anyone or not has NOTHING to do with the simple truth that
BELIEFS do not constitute a PERSONAL attack. no way around it bro. i can believe that you need to be stabbed with a knife but i haven't PERSONALLY attacked you until i've stabbed you with a knife.
-
@HelloWalterSobchak see, now we have a problem.
first because you quoted Jerry Falwell Senior, the dead pastor of a Baptist Church, and the person we are talking about and the person in this video is CLEARLY Jerry Falwell Junior, the still alive lawyer and Chancellor of Liberty University.

@Supernova325 "I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"
- Jerry Falwell, Response to 9/11.

@HelloWalterSobchak if you're going to accuse him of making a personal attack, then by all means, go ahead and accuse away. but let's try and back our logic, shall we? as opposed to just throwing lots of questions at someone and then demand answers without providing any ourselves.
-
@HelloWalterSobchak you spent an awful lot of words telling me all about my religion and what I believe as if that had anything to do with it. (it doesn't, the subject accused is Jerry Falwell Jr, not me) and then went and talked about Ted Haggard, (who is not Jerry Falwell Jr) and then talked about what the Bible says, (the bible is also definitely NOT Jerry Falwell Jr.)
so back to topic. JERRY FALWELL JR's belief system does not constitute a personal attack on you or on anyone.
Why do people always attack the person and not their actual opinion. It's upsetting when people do not agree with someone's opinion and they immediately resort to personal attacks. People have no idea how nice of a man Jerry Falwell Jr. is. If they say something that people do not agree with, they immediately become the devil. Is it really that hard to respect someone even if they don't have the same political or theological views as them?
