Back in 1990 when I was in college there was a girl I secretly liked. One day in the library she was sitting there with the headphones on, I went to speak with her & asked what she was listening to, she handed me the headphones & this track was playing! I didn't know anything about the Cocteau Twins by the time (apart from the name). It really struck me like a dream becoming a loud & clear reality. I'd never heard anything like it! The girl is now my wife!

This was my wakeup song when I first started my current job. I'd get up at 4am when it was still dark out, and have breakfast and tea while listening to this. I taste Irish breakfast tea whenever I hear this song now.

first i thought it was german, cause i misheard the lyrics.

at the beginning i hear everytime: "ist doch alles in ordnung, ist alles so schön hier
