Tabriz, Iran

My first day in Iran and I'm standing on a corner looking at a map. I'm approached by a young woman in a headscraf and to my surprise she speaks to me. Is this allowed? Next thing I know, I'm being driven around Tabriz in a car with two young women blaring out Britney Spears and some Underground Iranian music. Very surreal - and a great introduction to this wonderful country.
