EDIT: This film won the open competition at the offord Film Festival. This was voted by the audience, most of whom were film makers themselves.
This film, made specifically for the Offord Film Festival, is a culmination of some ideas that I have been having over the past few months about my films. This explores the darker side of people's nature, and how it can be portrayed in video. This film is also a first, as the soundtrack was created specifically for this film: it was even composed after the final edit. The music was composed in an electronic/experimental style using my old keyboard and a guitar effects pedal. The sounds are completely made in post production -- none of the production sound remains -- and the whole video has been colour graded.
what a wonderful short film. you should be really proud of yourself :)

Sounds reminds me of eraserhead with its feel. Loved the low angled shots and leading lines. Felt movement between shots also was very easy to follow. Love the slight time skips. Taking the strain scene mustve been a patient game...
However didn't feel the sence of 'cornering'
at the end with previous shots being so open.
overall I thought it was awesome!

I just watched this again. It's still very good. Perhaps a splash sound to let the audience know that he's jumped? Apart from that, this still upholds a very dark, depressing tone. Great stuff :)
