Stand For Islam Documentary

The last few years have seen increased Propaganda and rhetoric issued against Muslims living in Europe. Despite quotations aired in scripted style by Politicians, Media and government on freedom, tolerance and pluralism, the reality seems to be far from Muslims when it comes to their treatment.

Publishing of the Insulting cartoons against the Prophet of Islam in Denmark and their consequent republishing in Europe, Geert Wilders film Fitna which asked for most of the pages of the Quran to be ripped out, Anti-terror legislation designed for the Muslims, Fake evidence to justify raids as in Forest Gate (UK, criminalising the Muslim community over voicing concern on Foreign policy issues, voicing he creation for a "British" and "European" form of Islam, the banning of the Hijab in France and numerous other examples clearly build a picture of an environment which is breeding intolerance and misrepresenting Islam and Muslims.

The documentary aims to give confidence to Muslim in Britain in upholding their identity and showing the host society as to how Muslims can make a positive contribution in society.

You know what I think of religion period? I think underneath its comfort for most people, it is just a ball & chain on human beings. Thats a mute point though, what I really want to say to these Muslims that are so 'hardcore' about their religion and where they live.. Why don't you go back home, or to some islamic country with your own people. Why come to Europe and complain? You should be thankful we even let you into OUR land. If you don't like OUR CULTURAL WAYS, in OUR country then GO AWAY!

the last man had a great point people need to stand for their beliefs, but that dose not mean doing so with violence. the murder of theo van gouth was wrong the threats on the life of gert wilders is wrong all those men did was stand for their beliefs. they did not diserve death for it
