I have to agree that 8 comments, 20 ratings and 1,124 is not expected for this quality of youtube video. Helpful and funny. I can't wait to use some of the stuff they teach you how to build. As for effects it seems that I'm going to have to get after effects since that 's what they seem to use for EVERYTHING. Is Aftereffects a full editing program or is it as the name implies and simply used for after effects. What actual editing program do they use. Final Cut Pro perhaps?

After Effects is only for Motion Graphics and effects. For editing I use Final Cut Pro. However, as I often say - You can use almost any effects (and even sometimes, editing program) to do these effects. What I do is not to be a tutorial on any one program, but rather to show how you can do great effect with no budget if you just think outside the box.

After Effects is what I use to do the special effect and for motion graphics. Final Cut is what I edit with. If you watch some of the latest episodes you will see some work with FCP.
