  • One problem that I've come across is knowing which joseki to learn. What I came up with is to examine fuseki and your style of play. This can narrow your joseki needs to only what your goals are in a game, and what problems your opponent may throw at you. For instance if you are influence oriented, learn a few fuseki and learn the joseki that may come up with those. As you get better, you can add more and more fuseki and joseki while not having to learn the many millions of variations out there.

  • lol at 4:43 it is an arrow pointing to him

    great vid btw

  • Thanks so much for these videos! You are making it much easier for us to learn...

    :o)

    You are very much appreciated!

  • @Chao5bringer if you are 9k kgs you are about 14k in europe.

check google for "compare go ranks" and click first link. that table should help.

for me its true (4k kgs = 6-7k europe)

  • @Chao5bringer cool im 13kyu in KGS because i wasnt on in a while but im sopposed to be 11kyu. either way thank you

  • @gerry99100

5p is better than 7d in the same division, but the ranks are all different depending on continent.

I'm 9k KGS, 11k in wBaduk, 8k in AGA, and ranked 5k in a European Go Association.

    A general guide is 30k<1k<1d<9d<1p=9p

1-9p you rank up based on certain accomplishments.

At least, that's what i was told.

  • @gerry99100

    5p

  • wat is a better rating 7d or 5p???

  • Thanks a lot. I feel watching only a few of his explanations were so in depth and easy to understand that it has improved my rating greatly. Thank you for posting, I hope to see more go tutorials online.
