Great saves by legendary Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff in the game played between Italy and England in 1973 which ended with a 1-0 victory by Italy with the goal scored by Fabio Capello (!) in the 87th minute...
This game was during the period (1972-1974) in which he set a world record which he still holds for the longest stretch of time (1142 minutes) without allowing any goals in international football. The clean sheet stretch was eventually ended by Haitian player Sanon during the 1974 World Cup.
Super Dino !!

I have very great respect for many goalkeepers in football history: Dino Zoff, Gordon Banks, Lev Yashin, Frantisek Planicka, Gianpiero Combi, J.M. Pfaff, Ray Clemence, Gianluigi Buffon, Helmut Ducadam, e many others....

... Zoff, someone to be proud of!
An example for Italians of this difficult period, not only in football

Zoff declared once that Banks was the goalkeeper he preferred. Anyway the level of this man is not only into his player qualities but also in his incredible personality: so few words and so many facts are in the particular area were he comes from, Friuli is a region of hard and strong workers, serious people. Other examples: Bearzot, Capello and (for football experts) Nereo Rocco, coach of the AC Milan of the 60th, twice european champion, and teacher of the lombard Trapattoni
