elholandes, the caption for this vid obviously says " random rack focusing shots" .Unsharpness and blurriness is what racking focus is! Learn some video/film techniques before trying to critique someone else's stuff.

I have a Dvx100a Also. I really cant tell much difference at all. I dont think its worth the money for this camera. To costly and bulky. You now have a much higher risk of breaking shit and much more weight on your hands.
Could you do a before and after video. One with the rig and one without.

does it have a slot of SD CARDS?
-
ok... lets use the hvx200 as an example. apature on that guy is like f/4.2 the hd 50mm ranged from 1.2-1.8 with half the step of light loss in the letus, at WORST youre pulled down 2.3 thats basicly twice the light. and how can you tell its sharper on this youtube video? do you have a magic uncompressing scaler that we all should know about? also... if you dont like his style of a shallow dof and a cross processed film effect dont knock it when you dont know what youre talking about.

Read the title "Screen TESTS". This was all shot in about 5 minutes walking around the house when i first got my adaptor. Its definitely not the best footage from this rig.

I got the same impression, dude... I guess the DVX works well also without a 35mm lens!

Why do you need two?

Good stuff. Sometimes I get the impression that the image is way too soft and unclair, but if you have 2 of them you can start makin your own movie.
the video is ok, but as the other ones out there, the blue sky is greyish, the video is too unsharp, blurry....you need lots of lighting to get any adapter to work, unless you use a sharp HD cam like the hdx200 or other soon to come cams.
