try to keep the pressure on the bag at a constant, i play northumbrian pipes and its the same with them, got to keep the pressure constant.

Um...do you have a instructor???

Keep going! you need regular practice on the practice chanter and lessons and support from other pipers if you are playing the highland pipes, It requires constant physical practice, I am playing a one droned "practice smallpipe" myself these days to keep my piping going myself.

Just got back from the UK yesterday and visited Simon Hope. Had bellows, a new dual bag and cover and new drone and chanter reeds fitted with a drying system. Now they sound great.

I meant to add that the only drone playing is the tenor, the other two drones have slightly bent reeds. I have been learning the GHB for 4years, very slow progress, maybe I should give up learnng altogther
