I have great affinity for some of these films, like Beta and Khal Nayak, both with the great Madhuri. In Khal Nayak, there is an amazing musical sequence with girls who dance in orange and gold outfits, "Choli Ke Peeche" which is to DIE for.

musically i like the duet with aishwarya but visually and as a dance i like madhuris two solo Mujras, in the green and burgandy and gold dresses. a real feast for the eyes.
madhubala is my all time favorite, she was so bubly and vivacious on screen, she really cheers me up and sooooo beautiful, i am trying to make a doll of her (remember i do celebrity portrait dolls) but havent managed to pull it off yet...
so are indian films popular in Greece Thanos? I never knew that....

That song was SO controversial when it came out because it littereally means " whats behind your blouse" and even though Madhuris demure reply would be "Within my blouse is my heart" the inference was quite pointed . it was even banned for a while but it is really a spectacular set piece in the film...Have you seen Madhuri in <DEvdas? she has some glorious dance numbers in that too.
do you know the actress Madhubala Thanos?
