Whats with all the competition over who's better? I think both Kate and Juliet are amazing and are definitely the two best characters on the show! They have great chemistry together!:)

...that others were trying to do for the good of everyone else which had negative consequences such as when she went back for Jack and it annoyed me when she manhandled Miles in S4 and was so pissy with Jack when he wanted to detonated the nuke.

She's probably a love or hate character - me, I prefer Juliet who is a nice person who has done bad things.

It's funny - when I first watched this on the original run, I liked Kate and couldn't stand Juliet.

As the show progressed and finished, I rapidly grew to dislike Kate and her stupid facial expressions and now I'm watching it altogether and again on blu-ray, it's the other way around - I like Juliet and can't stand Kate.

She was really decent in season one and started to get on my nerves big time from season 2 onwards. She interfered big time with Jin and Sun, constantly went against things

I always felt sorry for Juliet in this scene, because she really was a good person in the show. they just made her look mysterious.

Okay enough with all this Kate vs Juliet rubbish, everyone has their own opinion and taste, so quit trying to change other people's minds, and quit talking about stuff that happens in later seasons, maybe some people watching this haven't seen that far. Anyway, I think the reason the monster does that flash thing is cause it's trying to scan their eyes and maybe that's how it can take on their form when they die. Thoughts?
