END OF AN ERA. This is the last days sugar beet harvest and due to the processing factory closure, marks the end of 3 generations of continuos beet production on this farm.
Hi, im in Yorkshire, 000-OSR seems hot favorate to replace sb, I also upped my w oats acreage,rented some land out for potatoes.Ill really miss growing beet though :(
yea i go to college in nantwich in cheshire and we visited a sb harvesting contractor last back end. he sed that wen campaign was over hes selling all his tackle and its absolutly devestated them all down there. will your osr be for biofuels or hav you got other plans for it.
hey pboyhappy, where bouts r ya, yorkshire or shropshire. what crop will replace ur sugarbeet.

The OSR will be this "ultra healthy" 000 variety used by mcdonalds and some high end users, to promote a more healthy cooking oil :)
