I'm not sure about this performance, but for those who are interested, every other performance we had lapel microphones taped to the inside of one of our shoes to pick up the tapping from both feet. No hiding with microphones THAT close ;)

Well Done! But everyone who posted a comment that says where irish dancers dance on their shoes PLEASE do some research before commenting because you don't actually know!
