Well we did try Ron Paul's ideas already.
It was called Robber Baron Capitalism

Well the way I look at it, Ron Paul has a romantic message.
However for instance, lets say these "Bankers" had the argument that unlike all other forms of Insurance.
They could offer "Loan Failure Insurance", where they weren't required to charge enough money to actually pay out in the event of a loan failure.
So they charged hardly anything to make bad loans appear as good loans.
How is deregulation of the financial sector good for the public?

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me, the question being though, why would a Republican state government grant that?
As for printing money out of thin air, a large reason that happens is because of deficit spending.
