@johnissoevil Yeah, he probably did.. Bill should only have mentioned the values. I think him counting during the spins made him look bad as he either got the total after it appeared or his total was wrong and he had to look at the counter to confirm the right total. I don't feel the pace had to be fast for this show, or at least not any faster than your average game show of the time. I love Bill Cullen as he's charming and funny, but I don't think he was at his best here.
@crazyclimber80 Bill was doing it the other way during the first season. Enright probably made a stupid rule saying he had to announce the total during the spinning to help the show move along due to Bill's slow pace.
Quite frankly, I'm surprised that Bill Cullen decided not to do the same thing as Jack Barry (during his last few months on the show before he died in 1983), and allow the player an "unofficial" spin if he/she chose to stop short of $1,000 to find out whether or not the Devil would've appeared.
Richard's Prize package was probably one of the most expensive they ever offered for a bonus round at $4,700. That RainSoft water softener alone was $2,000.
Shouldn't the champ have been permitted a chance to get 3 jokers of her own?

The Finale of The Joker's Wild from the Jack Barry/Jim Peck/Bill Cullen Era reminds me of the Finale from the CBS Years
The Finale starts out with the contestant playing Face The Devil
How about that?
