i agree that little cart is all you will ever need in a mm cartridge, i,ve tried others and alwas return to it ,its relly gentle onyour lp,s as wall

@dakine43 That hum problem is very strange. The Grado always seemed to me to be the perfect cartridge because of it's design and since seeing a test report in Stereo Review many years ago which showed a frequency response graph which was pretty much a straight line, unlike other cartridges which showed a sway-back and fairly ragged curve. But I suspect that it's very critical as far as setup and worth playing around with.
