  • Does taking the back off void the warranty? Could Apple tell if you simply removed the back?

  • @badderthanyou Yes, and possibly. It will void the warranty. If done gently enough, then Apple should not know that you had done this. However, we cannot guarantee that Apple knows or does not know about your repair.

  • wait so you can fix ANY ipod touch problem for just 25 dollars like a cracked screen???

  • @NoCommentsAvalable You will want to read the entire advertisement before placing an order, though the labor fee in Diagnosing or Repairing an issue is only $25.00. The customer would be presented with the full cost of parts before our technicians install anything. We always need permission from the customer to install any replacement parts, which would incur an additional charge for the cost of those parts.

  • man ur the best saved me 50 buck today thx mate

  • @poropotopo For cable #2, I would ensure that your front panel assembly is assembled correctly, most of them are. In the video we say to hold your finger on cable #2 while closing the front panel. Other than those two tips, I would not know how to help you out. You can always send the device to us for a repair, more info is available on our website and YouTube users page.

  • @DigiExpress i have folllowed every instruction to a tee but when re-sitting the 3 cables back, cable 2 seems to be too short and puts a strain on when i try to close the phone together once its been connected, help please!!!. thanks

  • hi guys - great job. Would just like to add that your video shows how easily the battery can be replaced, but for some models, the battery is held in by some double sided tape under the battery so it won' lift out as easily as demonstrated. But don't be fooled or give up hope! If you are careful and have a few plastic pry tools available (no don't use a metal screw driver! ) you can slowly free the battery away from the shell. You just have to break the glue seal under the battery. Regards.

  • i didnt know the back could come off

  • i would have never known what was inside my iphone until i saw this.

  • also. the "plastic" band is on both the front and back.

  • "an aluminum band sandwiched between two pieces of glass" word by word from apple. and i own one. the back is not plastic. and to prevent the glass from shattering they put a silicrylic band around it for shock absorbance. don't comment if you don't know.

  • @skittleschocolate The back piece is plastic, and so is the front of the phone around the glass.

  • @hadiyyah02 its called google translate

  • How has anyone disliked this video... boggles the mind

  • i got a question. besides a few parts (camera, that's about it...) where would they sneak plastic into the phone. it's all circuits... ur an idiot... and before you call it cheap, google production costs. it costs apple around 200 bucks to make an iPhone. that doesn't sound too cheap to me

  • @skittleschocolate

You sure there is no plastic? Maybe you should look inside the device again. It's at least 80% plastic. Besides, plastic is now superior to metal in a number of applications. High quality plastics are so complicated these days that companies employ whole science and engineering departments dedicated to them. Don't be afraid of plastic. Only be afraid of cheap crap plastic like the stuff in your iPhone 4

  • R.I.P. steve jobs :(

  • To replace the battery you just have to void your warranty! YEAH!

  • @11pandadog11 Hahaha yeah dude! Thats whats up! xD

  • @hadiyyah02 The iPhone has a SIM Card slot but has no memory card slot (SD card or the like). Visit Apple dot com backslash support for a help with your iTunes issue.
