i noticed the description said it competes with the m3 and amg and isf .. no it dousnt .. the audi rs4 and rs5 compete with those .. the s4 and s5 compete with bmw 335i and merc c350

Wow BMW fan boy.... the world doesn't have enough of you.

S4 0-60mph is 4.9 manual & DSG, M3 is 4.7 manual & 4.5 DSG. But M3 would be much faster around track because of better suspension, brake and OEM tires.

M3 coupe starts at 60K is barebone, my friend just bought one fully equiped for 75K before sales and gas guzzler tax, that's some serious money. And RS5 which comes fully equiped is not much more expensive.

V8 M3 is an amazing car, but it's not perfect. When the car just came out in 2008, there were actually reviews rating it worse than the discountinued RS4. Surprise! I guess all I am saying is BMW is great, but not the ultimate car TV ads portraits.

@Justinw580i Close, but not quite. A base S5 starts at $55k, $10,000 more than a base 335i coupe, or merely $3k less than the base M3 coupe. That means the S5 is much closer to the M3 than it is to the 335i. Performance wise, the M3 is leagues ahead of the S5 according to every journalist on the planet. Then there's the RS5 with it's $71k base price ($13k more than the M3), that according to journalists, STILL can't beat the M3 - not even in a straight line. I still love the S4 and RS5 though.
