Peer to peer lending a great idea between family and friends.

/peer to peer lending to people that want to live in a yurt.......... not exactly a financially sound investment. If someones not living life in a way where they can get a tiny $20,000 loan, then there not going to ever going to be able to pay you back until they grow up and get a proper job.

Damn, 20,000 for a yurt? Why don't you buy a 10x12 wall tent from reliable tent and tipi for 600 or so dollars and attach it to a 10x10 shack? For 20,000 dollars i could get a whole lot more then a Yurt.

Wow - this job is 'fun' ... looks like you get very wet. Also, any chance of putting up a video so we can see what a yurt is like on the inside and outside, and what it is like to live in one on a day-to-day basis?

We are moving in the direction of putting up 10 yurts on our land and renting them out for lodging, and as a place for students to stay when they come to our college of rural heritage workshops. I will be making more videos about yurts just as you requested in the future, because I believe they are a good answer to affordable housing needs.
