But isn't the difference between the experience of the science and your experience of a UFO is that science can provide evidence for its claims? Modern science does not reject ideas because it conflicts with the current idea, history can testify to that. I suppose If we wanted to say science is dogmatic the only way we can say that is because it only accepts claims that are supported by evidence and if one does not value evidence one does not value science.

The title is better than the lecture. The religion of Buddha aside. The actual belief that everyone is divine and their own Buddha was what Buddha taught. The religion built around that belief detracts from the power of the message. There was nothing special about Buddha. He new that. He knew everyone was just as divine as he was. In the world today, if everyone believed that, there would be a lot of peace and harmony. The greedy elite wouldn't want that happening. They need slaves.

@mossberg451 Well its just the way they see the world, so you can't really blame them, just be happy with what you understand, and love them unconditionally. Hopefully one day they'll break past their paradigm and see the possibility of different vantage points! :D

umm...excellent lecture and all, but there is absolutely no (i mean really zilch) talk of the correlation between buddhism and physics in this 10 min piece...i suppose i will check out the mp3's of the rest, but you should be aware that at face value the title of this 10 min vid is rather misleading.
