@Celtalian it's almost impossible to play with 4 fingers. you have to move the whole hand which will actually make you slower than if you use 3 fingers, and in some cases even when you use 2 fingers. try it out and you'll see. everyone moves their pinky finger when they play with 3 fingers, that's also a impossiblity to don't do. anyway, hope that helped. cheers!
