A good offense oriented team would be Neige and Lazarus.But all the characters are good in that game if they are used well. Mao has a great evasion, Volg has speed, Elwyn has range, Xion is well balanced, Lazarus has great defense and HP, Neige and Ryuna are magic oriented with a lot of magic, magic defense and SP, Keiner has great attack and Cupido seems to be a fusion of Elwyn and Xion + being a little magic oriented.

You're right.Ryuna is useless when she is controlled by the CPU.But I used her and I casted healing light non-stop from the backline to keep my brother's Neige alive. She is really good to have around in that tower in the parallel world coz she can heal and there's a lot of undead. The ice wall of my bro's Neige was enough to slay all the monsters. We use to train a lot and having both Ryuna and Neige in a team gives you a high HP and SP regeneration (with Ryuna's aura and Neige's meditation)

Kashino:Well, Ryuna was pretty useless in the game except when there were undead monsters, then she owns. It's a good idea to find someone to play 2 players with you because it's co-op orientated, and the 2p CPU sometimes have a hard time working with you.

She's like any character...she's a priestess (healing type mage) and she's my favorite too coz I always use healers...my bro used Neige coz we liked spellcasters but the prob is that you have to use Xion on every mission except in a parallel world where you can use any combination and you can visit every places you've already went through.
