I'm new to this so some of the proportions aren't correct. Working on a project for my industrial design studio. An urban bike that has an integrated lock.

  • I am astounded at how easily it seems you were able to lift the tape off of the wall. What type of tape is that, and what is the wall made of? Thanks.

  • DAMN GOOD IDEA!

  • Interesting studio project. Just some constructive critique from a fellow ID guys and bike enthusiast, if you don't mind. :)

    1. Bike form follows human ergonomics. Understand how we bend, reach, sit on, and pedal on a bike, as well adjustability for human sizing.

    2. Suspended beam for what reason? Less triangulation means less lock points. The frame will also be too flexy.

    3. Look up the integrated locks on Dutch bikes. Clean, simple and understated.

    Cheers and good luck!

  • Whoah! Very cool. I was wondering what you were talking about in your earlier tweets today.
