This Dog Park was constructed near my house without the consultation of nearby residents because as Lynn Foster says "you guys would have been opposed to it anyways, why ask." Constant barking makes it unbearable for the nearby residence, getting woken up by barking dogs every morning. They violated many laws (noise by-law, and distance between residence and dog park.) We own dogs ourselves, we are not opposed to the dog park, we are opposed to have it beside residential areas. We have lived here for 5 years before the dog park was built, it would be different if we moved into an area that had a dog park built already. Constant problems arise in our neighbourhood because of this dog park, many neighbours are scared of dogs, others can not even sell their house because of it, and constant arguments between park users and residence has become almost dangerous. We ask to relocate the park away from any neighbourhood, we would not want anyone else going through the pain we have. They spent over $100,000 on a fenced-in area, a gate, 2 park benches, and stairs; can u say waste of tax payers money? I sure can. Lynn Foster did not even come on the side of the street where the protesters were, she stayed on the side with the K9Klub, and hid behind her car when Rogers Television came to interview the K9Klub, good Ward Leader we have in Richmond Hill. Park users are driving to this location from all over the York Region, what's the big deal if they have to drive to a different location, either way they are driving their dog to the park. My dog is not even allowed in the park because he is not neutered, and i would not want my dog to go there after all the fights and whimpering i have heard coming from that park, i care about my neighbours and my dog too much.
Video is bought from Rogers Television, they sent us the DVD
@Loupgarouca yess, WE'RE disinformational, wut u fail to realize is that its not only 3 households thank u very much, its much more than that, so dont be pointing fingers okk
andd why else wud ppl buy ravine lots? im sure if u lived in the ravine lot, u wudnt want dogs barking constantly either
and it took absolutely no time to put together since it was already posted up by Rogers, i put 1 picture infront of it and posted it
not only that but we want it RELOCATED not closed, so no1 has to suffer

@Davidachka Yes. You bought the ravine lots thinking that nobody but you should have the right to enjoy the greenspace on the OTHER SIDE OF THE VALLEY from you. I can't believe you all to this day. Absolute disinformation -- well congratulations on the single response to this ridiculous video post that you took so much time to put together. Yes. 3 households want the park GONE...how democratic.

@DFBda2nd and we never said the fighting is due to the location
that makes absolutely no sense, fighting is a natural occurrence
but the fact that we have to listen to it bothers alot of the neighbours
it would be different if only 1 household was complaining
but it is more than one
we get that you guys enjoy the park, but its better off in a different location
no neighbourhood should go through what we have to go through
we bought the ravine lots for a reason

@DFBda2nd we never said we want to close the park
we want to relocate it
it shud not be in residential area where it could a bother
its a natural thing that dogs bark when playing, but its not fair that owners come for 15 minutes, let their dogs bark, and leave, while we sit here day in and day out listening to the barking
think about others as well, we lived here for 5 years b4 the dog park was made
u wud not want this dog park in your backyard, why shud we have it?
read the description please.
