@drbotanus tell me how many of these monster grabs and trys to abducted or eate Pete I know the seaweed monster did but did any other monster like Breeder or any others?

@MrWhitman A story is generally considered to be 10 feet.

"30 Stories HIgh." That's actually not very helpful. I researched how tall a "story" is. There is no set height on it. It's like a hosue of cards: it can be 30 stories high but each story is only the height of a single playing card. I mean, a normal house in the United States can be three stories high but it still isn't as tall as the second story in the Sears Tower.

@KillerKrump2000 lol

I've got to say, some of those monsters could make a pretty good Toho Kaiju if well done. Axor its pretty awesome looking.

@drbotanus damn lol your right, this was made in the 70s so it was almost impossible to purchase more TOHO monsters
Phoenix is a cheap knockoff of Rodan smh

Everyone thinks that, but its a radically different character. The only similarity is that its a bird. I think it was more likely modeled, at least physically, on the similar looking bird creature on Hanna Barbera's The Herculoids. The producer have said that they actually did not model monsters on Toho's and tried to be as original as they could. The creatures designs were based on the needs of the script. Though Dark Horse Comics has admitted to creating "surrogate" monsters modeled on Toho.

@drbotanus unfortuantely, it would have been more better if they try to use Rodan and other Godzilla monster's likeness especially since they are using Godzilla

@KillerKrump2000 They could not affort to pay for the rights to use other Tho characters like Rodan & Mothra so they had to try and make monsters that were as different as possible. I actually like the monsters from the series. It would have been tedious if they kept having Rodan etc. all the time.
