I'm getting ready to start autoguiding.
I don't know if I want to get a DSI Pro or a Orion StarShoot Autoguider.
Do You still like using your StarShoot?
My setup is a Orion 80ED with Canon 350D camera, Orion ST80 for guiding on a SVPro mount.
I've just modified my RA/DEC controller for ST-4 port.

I love using my Starshoot... that is what i guide with. I've been imaging with a Canon Rebel XT lately (same as a 350D)

how much would it cost for these setups?

your average imaging setup with guidescope and autoguider will run you about $2,000 to $4,500. higher quality images being with the higher priced gear.

Consider me smiling! These are stunning images :)
You must have the patience of a saint.
I'm thinking about purchasing Orion StarShoot AutoGuider for my Celestron C8 SGT. Will it work okay with that scope and do you reccomend it?
Thanks!

Yes, I use the starshoot autoguider (SSAG) to track and steady my mount while doing long exposure photos. for that celestron, you're going to need an off-axis guider to use with your primary imaging camera. What camera are you, or do you plan on using for your photography? Be looking for my new video. lot better images coming in my new one since i upgraded equipment.
