Kevin and Sam got to the music store. He went directly to the counter to drop off his guitar to get it fixed. Sam decided to roam around and look at the different instruments. She walked into an isle with just violins.
"Whoa!" She whispered to herself. She ran her fingers on the shiny wood of the violin.
"You play?" A voice asked from behind.
Sam turned around and saw one of the workers. He looked like he was around her age. He had blonde hair, really tall and nice build. She hesitated. "No. at least not anymore." She said looking at the violin again.
"You wanna try it?" He reached for the violin, took it down and handed her a bow. "Its tuned and ready to go."
"I dont know." She said shaking he head.
"Oh come on. Once you have it you have it. Im sure you still know how." They guy flashed Sam a smile.
"Ok. The only song I remember is the cheesy song from titanic." She said laughing.
"Hey its a classic song. Go for it."
Sam began to play the song and did pretty good except she had one or two squeaky notes. Kevin peeked from the end of the aisle and watched her.
"Wow that was amazing. Sorry my name is Steven by the way." The employee held out his hand so Sam could shake it.
"Hi Steven. My name is Samantha." She said shaking his hand.
"Nice to meet you Samantha. So is there anything I can help you with? Are you looking for a violin?"
"No. I just came to look. Maybe some other time." She said walking away. Steven got in front of her.
"You promise?" He said in a flirtatious voice.
"Um. Sure." She said. just then Kevin came out from behind the aisle.
"Hey babe you ready to go?" He said walking up to Sam but keeping his eyes on Steven.
"Yeah." Sam said uncomfortably.
"Bye! It was nice meeting you two. Hope to see you soon Samantha." Sam blushed and walked out the door with Kevin. She looked at Kevin and saw his cheeks were red.
"Babe are you hot?" She asked.
"No why do you say that?" He was walking in a fast pace.
"Because your cheeks got really red." She saw his expression. "Youre mad arent you?" She said laughing.
"Its not funny." he said looking forward.
"Yes it is! You got jealous!" She poked his stomach teasing him.
"No I didnt." he stopped and looked at her.
"Yes you did." She said teasing him again. "thats sweet." she said.
"What?" He was confused.
"I think its sweet that you got jealous. Call me weird but im flattered haha. Besides it was nothing."
"He was practically drooling all over you." Kevin said.
"Well what do you want me to do? How about we go get you a starbucks and get your mind off of things? Hmmm?" She wrapped her arms around his waist.
He couldnt stay mad. "Fine. But I still have to go buy some shoes and last minute things for the tour."
"No problem." She grabbed his hand. "Come on my love!" She said and began to skip.
"Slow down!" He said trying to catch up to her.
They got to starbucks and Sam told Kevin it was on her. He thanked her and sat on a couch and began to read the newspaper. As Sam was getting her change from the cash register she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw a girl she had never met before.
"Yeah?" Sam asked trying to see if she remembered the girl.
"Are you with him?" She asked pointing to Kevin.
"Yes?" Sam said getting even more confused.
The girl got her frappacinno took the top off and dumped in on sams head. "Stay away!" The girl yelled.
Sam gasped and couldnt believe what had just happened. She wiped the drink off of her eyes and just as she was about to jump on the girl Kevin grabbed her and held her back.
"Hey relax!" He said trying to get her to calm down.
"The hell I will!" Sam said screaming. The girl just laughed and walked away. "What a little bi-"
"Watch it!" Kevin said reminding her that there are kids around.
Sam got out of kevins grip wiped away as much frappaccino off of her as she could and stormed out the door. Kevin ran up to her and tried to get her to calm down.
"Hey relax. We'll go home and get you cleaned off." He said cleaning her face with some napkins he grabbed on the way out.
"I hate this! I hate all of this!" She began to scream and throw her hands up in the air.
"Im sorry. I didnt know she was going to do that! Sometimes fans get a little crazy." He said.
"I hate the glares, I hate the hate mail we get, I hate the phone calls, I hate the harassment! Im tired of it all! I cant do it anymore Kevin Im sorry." She walked away furious.
Sam wait! Let me at least take you home!" He didnt want to believe what she was saying. He thought it was just because she was mad.
"NO! just leave me alone!" She walked home.
