  • I found it very useful to see the other side of the cube while on kdesktop.

  • Huh? Who uses transparent windows for coding? The last thing we need is something that makes the code harder to read. Transparent windows may be pretty, and color based transparency is a good hack for making legacy apps transparent, but I don't think it would be useful for coding at all.

  • completely useless

  • i agree this is very useful. and it looks cool too.

  • obviously people who say this is useless dont code...

    or they have multiple monitors...

  • hooray for uselessness!

  • Not all all. I always wanted to keep only certain parts of the application transparent insted the whole window. This fits perfectly to many of my daily needs.

  • No Kurt, no it's not useful because you will still have that window's border showing. In any case this is, yes, very useless.

  • This is useful, mainly for applications with a certain background, like a Terminal window, and you just want a certain part of the window being transparent insted of the whole application

  • How...useless
