ok well thats yuur opinion nd yuu have the right to feel that way...but i think we should just be called american not hawaiian...hawaiian is a race,a culture a bloodline it means yuur ancestors are native to this land....nd how'd asians get in this now

@hawaiian96chence You misunderstood me. I never said or meant that they should be considered Hawaiian. *I* think that we should stop get rid of ALL race labels, including "Hawaiian". People are just born a certain race, by chance. Now my father is Hawaiian and I'm very proud of the culture. But I feel like it is my nationality, not my race. I don't think that non Hawaiians are Hawaiians, should call themselves so. Asians had their homes in Hawaii taken by whites, but they are getting nothing.

There is already enough racism going on with Kamehameha schools and such.Todays people aren't responsible for what happened in the past. Non native Hawaiians were a part of the old Kingdom of Hawai'i. If I person whose family came to the mainland over 100 years ago is considered American, non natives Hawaiians should be considered Hawaiian. In my opinion there should only be one race, and that is the human race. He mau kānaka kakou a pau!
