Fearful Yet Fearless ~jick~ chap.18 MARATHON 3/10

srry i couldn't post earlier. dont be mad but, i kinda fell asleep haha. srry. anyways here is the next chapter. by the way, after the marathon im gonna start requesting a certain amount of comments instead of always leting you guys slide.

where we left off:

i didnt let the tears spill. instead, i grabbed nick's car keys. "j-joe, where are you going? what are you doing?" nick hung onto my arm trying to stop me. "nick, stop. i have to go!" he wouldn't let go. he just gazed up at me with pleading eyes. i glanced at my cell. it has now been 5 mins since the text came. who knows what he could accomplish with my mom in 5mins. "please, just call the cops." i took a deep breath. "what would the cops do?!" he held my arm tighter. "keep you safe..." i tugged alittle and got my arm out from his grasp. "I'm sorry nick, i have to do this. ok?" i started walking to the door again but he took my hand. "just let me come with you." i glanced at the door. "are you crazy? it's bad enough he knows i've been staying with you. do you WANT to put yourself in danger?" he didn't answer. he just held my hand tighter. i kissed him lightly and pried his fingers off my hand. "just stay here, nick. please dont leave. i dont want you hurt." he didnt answer he just let me leave. i didnt like that look in his eyes. if he ended up following me anyway i dont know what i'd do. he just needs to stay here. i quickly called selena's number. " hello?" i took a deep breath. "sel? it's joe." she laughed alittle. "obviously, i have caller i.d" no smile appeared on my face. i could tell she heard no humor in my voice. "can you come watch nick for me?" i grabbed my coat as i talked and walked out the door. "like, babysit him? he's 17. im pretty sure he can watch himself joe..." i hopp
ed in nick's car and started it. "your wrong. he won't listen right now. just come over and make sure he doesn't leave the house, ok?" i was driving now. trying my hardest not to speed to my house. now was not the time for a speeding ticket. "fine." i sighed. "thanks sel. just call me when you get there ok?" i could tell she was walking out the door because i heard her door shut in the background. "yeah, sure." i quickly hung up and pressed alittle more on the gas. i swear, if he so much as laid a hand on my mom I'll kill him.

i sat on the bed and watched as joe left the room. soon after i heard the front door shut. i ran to the window and looked out. he was on the phone. what is he doing? i paced back and forth wondering what to do. after a moment of thought i heard the door open. he probly sent someone over to baby sit me. ha. no one can keep me here. whoever was down there isn't going to stop me from leaving. i quickly grabbed my coat and jogged down the stairs. i stopped in my tracks and looked at the person who stood at my front door. an evil smirk played on the person's face. my eyes widened when i realized who it was....

is it Zac?
is it Joe's Dad?
is it one of joe's sluts from the begining? haha JK!


ok, i'll see if i can post more. i had all day to do it! im so pissed a fell asleep!!! that was a waist of early dissmisal.
