Obama and his friends will make a fortune through Carbon credits, this is a total con, it will dwarf the financial derivative con. Only ignorant morons do not realise that the earths CO2 levels were 5% higher during the prehistoric age when the dinosaurs ruled the earth. The earth is actually on a cooling phase, wake up and do a bit of research instead of watching Hollywood Films.

can you imagine what would happen if al gore was actually president? i mean he said himself in an inconvenient truth that the economy was not as important as defeating global warming. on the other hand, if he was president he probably wouldnt have to make up such delusional bullshit to become relevant again.

The earth has always gone through warming and cooling periods. The medieval warming period was warming than this current one. Scientist also say that the sun is the hottest now it has been in about 60 years. And the idea that planting trees is going to scrub the skys of carbon emissions from jets, SUVs, and space shuttle takeoffs is about as misguided as believeing you will sufficate in the sahara desert because of the lack of trees to provide you oxygen.

Hey rod, Al Gore pays for his "debt" through a company called Generation Investment Management. He is the chairman of the company. So if you by carbon offsets from his investment group, they will be very happy and rich. It would be more admirable if they did not wait for your guilt money and just go and build the damn windmill or whatever they do with the money and sell it. You know, make profits the way most companys do.
