  • is it an e flat? doesn't sound like it...

  • @ryanwayne123 I is what an e flat? the instrument? yes the Alto saxophone is in E flat

  • I learned it by ear too and I wrote the sheet music, if anyone interested contact me ^^ will be free

  • @doomushroom Ear training is better. I honestly believe just giving people sheet music and not letting them figure it out for themselves is terrible

  • i checked it is i saw the making

  • Dude. show me where you think it is a tenor? the Tone on the saxophone in the original is clearly an Alto. a Tenor is too low.

  • to all the people having trouble learning it by ear try to play it on piano its much easier to translate the notes from the song over to the piano then to your instrument

  • What are the notes

  • This would be fun to play on tenor only because of the dark, rich sound which is specific only to tenor sax.

  • Anyone know the notes for this solo? Alto or Tenor?

  • why am i whatching this i play the flute

  • Nice

  • @doomushroom im interested i just started playing sax . this song inspired m and i would very much like to play it

  • I tried learning this part of the song on trumpet by ear. I learned the whole thing except for the note at 0:27. That notes just too low for trumpet. the lowest a trumpet can go is F# or Gb. I tried every note i know and the closest to what you played at 0:27 was a low screwed up D that sounded bad. whats that note on saxophone.

oh and btw love halo and the songs :)

  • hey can you email me a copy or picture of the sheet music so i can try to play my email is jon_Alt@live.ca

  • Selmer Mark VI?? Nice!!
