@Redeemption777 Same people were behind it. If you ever played the stuff they made before Golden Sun, you won't even remember the name because Golden Sun's graphic whore rubbish compared to their old stuff.

It's so important for RPG's to have good music. and it seems this one has great sounds. wish I could afford the hefty price tag these days. The music around 1:50 is very Mario RPGish. I love it.

how about playing it on the PC? you can use the emulator SSF and play all the games in english (scenario 2 and 3 have english patches).

Climax also helped make Alundra, which is considered a spiritual sequel to Landstalker (some of the Climax members formed Matrix Software, which not only made Alundra but the FF 3D remakes for DS and Nostalgia).

Shining Force is better than Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem is plagued with cheap and annoying gameplay mechanics like permanent character death. at least in SF you can revive your party members.

I LOVED the Shining Forces games! What is Sega DOING sitting on those titles and others? How lame. Release them on other platforms already! :(
Sadly - I never got to play this game, and while the Sega Saturn platform is selling on Ebay for like... $20... I still can't justify buying one just to play this 1/3 part game! :(
