I first heard this song when i was like 5 and i would always sing the chourus to somebody and people would say it was dave matthews band.pft so glad for google and for finding this :)

This sounds like a mixture of Counting Crows, Blues Traveler, Hootie and The Blowfish, Spin Doctors, and the early years of Matchbox 20. I like it!
