Most of the people in coverband never played on stage before and I got to say the did a great job. I'm still getting calls from top people in the music business about that night, we had 4 hours to get 7 songs down. I tilt my hat off to all that join the contest,but it is what it is. There is always next year and because of us and all the things we found and fixed, it will be even better for all next time around.

In this business you need to stay humble in order to go far. Wishing all the best.

Mike, congrats on winning the Vocalist spot last year.

I'm competing in Hand Percussion for 2011 and the website has been locked for voting since Thansgiving morning. Voting was suppossed to end on Sunday, Nov. 28th.

Hey coversinger333, I have known Mike (the singer) and played in LOTS of different bands with him over THIRTY years. He is the only guy I know that has the coconuts to improv under pressure. You should see him in his element. You must strike a great pose and I bet your hair is still past your erect nipples. Freak, its "COVERband".

by the way how could i have messed up the first line of the song? the video starts in the middle of the song! and i wasnt singing jean and john! it was cheech and chong! (no. iam kidding!) I WAS SINGING JEAN AND JOAN! IF I HAD SANG JEAN AND JOHN IAM SURE KARL WOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING TO ME! YOUVE GOT WAAAAY TOOOO MUCH TIME TO BE NITPICKING AND HATEING ON ME BECAUSE YOU LOST! Winter NAMM Show Day 3 -

Poor looser... You werent there - Karl decided to put a BASS SOLO in at that time.. You dont have the facts.. Get a life! check out the professional video when it comes out.. THE BIG WIGS were impressed with all of us - I could care less what a sore looser like youself thinks!
