My short visit in Udonthani February 2009. I really hate that I don't get to sleep in when I stay at my uncle's house.

No sleep-in hey! At my g/f's house in Nongwuaso it's not just the roosters but the neighbour insists on those nearby listening to his radio and then his motorbike. But that's nothing compared to the daily wake up call from the speakers attached to various trees in the vicinity so we can all join in the morning prayers without leaving our beds.

Is that Nong Khai market??? Never did understood why they didn't ban motorbikes!

@postcardsoflife yes it is Nonghkai market. The motorbikes are annoying when it is suppose to be a pedestrian friendly area.

Mayor every morning at 7 am? Srew that! I bet the mayor is still in bed and tapes his speech.

So what does it all mmean?

If you want to live there you need many rai of ground

without chicken disturbance to be sure of a good nightrest,

double windows and you'll be fine
