Death of my BlackBerry Storm Touchscreen

UPDATE: This was an issue caused by incorrect voltage due to the use of a non-official charger. A battery pull corrected it.

My coveted BlackBerry Storm's touch screen just started malfunctioning. This is greatly upsetting.

Please excuse the blurry video. The camera didn't seem to want to focus, even in macro mode.

Make sure you're using an official charger. In other news, I now have a Droid and love it. Good riddance crappy RIM OS! The Droid boots in under a minute.

omg thanks i thought my blackberry was messed up and my phone was charging on my new charger and i was trying to text and it wouldnt click right... but when i unplugged it, it worked just fine...thanks for the help

Mine does it on and off of the charger and I've never used any charger other than the one that came with it. Now it's even worse because my daughter dropped it and the screen is cracked. Now I'm waiting for my HTC EVO to come in the mail....

@halofan1227 bullshit on everything. take an HTC Desire. $449.99 outright, $29.99 on a 3 yr with telus. iPhone 4, $159-3yr 16GB, $269-3yr 32GB and $649/749 respectively. RIM Torch $599 or $199-3yr. plus, the HTC Desire is running a 1GHz processor and is much more customizable and simpler to use than a BB. althoug, I do miss BBM.
