damn this was the best video it explained something that can be used. the reason the numbers in the hatch turned into hyroglypics is because they are the unknown veriables in the equation of the numbers.

It's not meant to be real. Just as the show isn't meant to be real. The only difference is production values. These things are simply created for fans who want to dig more to put the pieces together. The LOST story is very complicated. These are just puzzle pieces. Calm down.
