Tinker Toy Trebuchet

First attempt at a tinker toy trebuchet. Still working on the payload release, but its getting there! Sorry about the focus..using a DSLR to record video (without autofocus) in one hand and trying to get the trebuchet to release with the other is a tad bit difficult :)

Yeah, I have a tripod. Manfroto w/ ball head. Didn't feel that this required me setting everything up for a clip that is a couple seconds long.

There's this thing called a "tripod" that's good for just this kind of situation. Not expensive (especially compared to a DSLR). Actually has many other applications.

Sling release: won't work if both ends are fastened to the beam tip. One end has to slip off. See the Ripcord trebuchet site for details.
