Why was Obama suing banks to force them to lower their standards?

Homeownership is a noble idea, but not everybody DESERVES to own a home. That comment has nothing to do with race or skin color. It has everything to do with Character (demonstrated history of paying back debt) and Capacity (the means to pay back debt). The people getting these loans had neither of those.
