As George wanted it to be
"I know that I seem strange to you sometimes
And who is it in here, you
have often thought
But what can I tell you
That you don't know already?
Yes, even the times like this
Will roll away

But I love you (I love you)
I love you (I love you)
That's all that I ever really wanted

I know that it will work out all the same
And whoever it is in here
can overcome the pain
A true friend's shoulder to lean on
I'll make it through
And over and over
I feel for you

But I love you (I love you)
I love you (I love you)
That's all that I ever really wanted

Oh yeah, you know that sometimes a man
He has nowhere to lay his head

But what can I tell you
That you don't know already?
Yes, even the worst time like this
Will blow away

But I love you (I love you)
I love you (I love you)
That's all that I ever really wanted

Oh yeah, you know that sometimes a man
He has nowhere to lay his head,
nowhere, I said nowhere
Nowhere to lay his head

Oh what can I tell you
That you don't know already?

  • Do you happen to know the origional track order?

  • Actually this is the original track order. I just put the four "substitute" songs in 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th place.

  • @njb641982 Can you give me this link please ?

  • Mon morceau préféré de la discographie de George , un chef d'oeuvre !

  • Hello fellow dark horse scruffs, (lol on that one). If I am not mistaken, this is the version that was released with "Got my Mind set on you" in 1987. The original version was a wee bit slower. This version is okay considering the time is was released. There is a link that I know of that shows the Original LP and a slightly different track order. later all!

  • this song is soooooo cool, the d7 (the part when sing i love you...) is the best!!

  • how on earth was this track missed off the original album?

A gem of a track - I wish Olivia would give it a "proper release"
