A little something I threw together as tribute to my favorite monster riddled soap opera: Dark Shadows. I hope you like it!

  • thats not the real dark shadows

  • @robzored What do you mean it's not the real dark shadows???? This tribute contains photos taken from the original 1966 - 1971 TV show Dark Shadows.

  • I still don't think that protraite looks like Barnabas

  • Do you mean the painting at 0.16 ?

  • one scene which comes to mind for example, is in collection 11, the second episode on the first disc when Sheriff patterson questions Julia & Mrs. Johnson at Collinwood about Joe, & Barnabas' attack at The Old House. There is a brief skip in dialogue there,. I have noticed this every now & again on the discs, though not too often, but was wondering if anyone else has that same problem & knows if this is due to MPI

  • I haven't encountered any skipping problems...the only thing I had trouble with was on some of the earlier collections when Barnabas makes his debut...the audio was so low that I had to crank my volume wide open...and even then it was a struggle to hear the dialog.. I wish they were closed captioned...I am quite hard of hearing.

  • Nice video. Love the sepia effect photos.

Thanks for keeping Dark Shadows alive.

  • LOL, I think I see some of my DS picture doctoring in here! The pic of Barnabas at 1:57 looks like a sepia toned version of the picture I used to begin my "Valentine" video. No, you're not in trouble, I'm flattered you thought well enough of it to use it. Check out my JF birthday tribute for this year, too.

  • Just wish that Mitchell Ryan was "snuck" in there somewhere. Maybe I missed it. As an afterthought.....I deeply wish that SOMETHING could have been done to help Don Briscoe in his personal life. Fortuitously, it made his character very endearing to me. Laid back, thoughtful, sweet and compelling. I'll miss his face, ahhh....and I'll miss HIM....

  • @EricandDish

That's Maggie, not Victoria with the shirt, tie & vest

  • i love me some dark shadows! the original creepy vampire story. i remember watching reruns of it when i was a kid. My mom watched it when it was originally on. keep the tradition alive! lol Thanks for sharing!

  • Long ago and far away when I was young, I used to race home from school so I could see "Dark Shadows." My large extended family shared a house, and a black-and-white tv that took some positioning of rabbit ears, and some jumping up and down on the floor, and moving of tv stand before we could get a decent picture. But then, finally, the "Dark Shadows" spooky music was there....

  • Whoa, check out that shurt, tie, and vest that Victoria wears at 1:01-almost like what Jennifer O'Neill's character wore in "Summer of '42"!

  • LOVE this...would have liked it better if original theme music was used though

  • very good

  • This is such a good song for DS. I'm amazed at all the great pics in your videos. I love 1.48 of Angelique and 1.50 that seems like Barnabas is looking at her in deep thought. Watching this brings back memories and I 'm happy to say I feel the same way today about these characters and actors who portrayed them as I did do many years ago. Great job BVB!
