Ok for those who have been asking a review of my cymbals, here there are. I recorded different vids for rides, crashes and hihats, so look for the rest at my channel.

Cymbal Order:
- Zildjian 14" A New Beat Hi-Hats
- Zildjian 14" A Mastersound Hi-Hat, Brilliant
- Zildjian 14" A Custom Hi-Hats

The brilliant mastersound hihat is not in production anymore. It is pretty hard to find, and it sounds AWESOME. Blends perfectly with the brilliant sweet ride and I mostly use it in outdoor gig because it cuts through everything.

The cymbals were tested with a Zildjian Super 5B Natural Drumstick (Wood Tip) and recorded only with my Sony HDD Handycam.

The hihats were tested with a DW 9000 Hi-Hat stand with 2 legs.

Hola DrummerGS. Estoy por comprar los A MasterSound de 14". Actualmente tengo los A Custom de 14" pero el sonido de ellos es muy dark y me parece que el sonido de los tuyos es más brillantes que los mios. Es decir el sonido es más agudo. quizá por la grabación, entonces te pregunto: Notas alguna diferencia de sonido entre ésta grabación y el sonido real de tus A Custom? O te parece que suenan igual? Agradecido. Saludos.

cada par de hit-hats biene saliendo alrededor de 5 mil pesos. en emxico eso es MUCHISIMO !

i have A mastersound brilliant hi hats and they are the best. they have more solid and dry sound than a custom, without ringy overtones. they are quite thick and very loud on demand, but still controllable at quick accents. And brilliant finish makes the sound more modern compared to traditional finish. new beat with traditional finish sounds too vintage, and a "chick" is better on mastersound.
