Twilight Breaking Dawn Black Carpet Premiere

Last night I hosted the Twilight Premiere of Breaking Dawn (Part 1) for Summit and Yahoo Movies, who sponsored the whole premiere. We gave away a car, more than 1000 tickets to fans, and of course, interviewed the whole cast LIVE on Yahoo Movies and on the giant outdoor screen at Nokia Live in downtown LA.

Hey, if you got a sec - any idea what the celebrities do once they go inside? Do you get to go inside too? It's just that after all that fuss and hoopla I can't believe they quietly sit and watch a movie. I think they'd be jabbering and texting and tweeting and eating and such.

@TheRadical42 Haha, very keen assertion! Yep, it's true - they all go inside, sit quietly, and watch the movie. So many tickets were given to Twilight fans, I assume it was a pretty rowdy viewing crowd though. I had seen the film two weeks prior, so I didn't stay (I usually leave after I'm done with live premieres because it's so exhausting!) :-)

i went to the one in london the walk on the red carpet (it had a white stripe down the middle) was so long i had to catch my breath and sit down at the end (which was lucky coz thats when we watched the movie) xx

Aw I would have loved to go to the premiere but saddly i doubt that i could afford it. Still my christmas wish is to get premiere tickets for part 2. I hope my wish comes true.

i don't know! i hope next year they do it more like the harry potter final premiere.. like during the day and focus more on the fans reactions when the stars show up. the questions were like exactly the same for everyone, and it was awkward when they like had to tell them to go talk to other people. lol! oh well! more hope for next year! :))
