Cannabis isn't the tree of life. I used to suspect the same thing, but when looking closer into the bible i realized the garden of Eden was blocked off forever. The tree of good and evil and the tree of life are trees that we have not ever discovered. Because they only existed in the garden and the garden has never been entered since the banishment of Adam and Eve.

@jackaroo59 the phrase "One nation under God" first appeared in the 1980's to differentiate from the "Godless" USSR. Not to derail too much but that phrase is not a real defining aspect of our government (though I totally agree with what you're saying)
